HUNDREDS of concerned residents descended on Orsett Hall to see the plans for a New Thames Crossing on Wednesday afternoon.
The car parks were packed to capacity. A special holding room had to be set up as residents queued to get a look at the plans.
Once people got into the main room, there was plenty of information with Route 2, Route 3 and Route 4 all clearly marked out on maps.
There will no doubt be a lot of frustrated residents who could not get to the meeting due to work commitments.
YT interviewed the Highways England Project Manager for the New Thames Crossing, Rob Audsley and asked him to take us through the plans as well as reflect upon people’s concerns, frustrations and fears.
