One injured after chemical incident in Grays

ESSEX Firefighters were quick to respond to a chemical (hydrochloric acid) spilling from a tanker in Oliver Road in Grays.

Seven crews, including one new Hazmat unit, were called to the incident, which had already been handled by site staff on arrival.

One casualty suffered the effects of chemical fumes. He was left in the care of the Ambulance Service by 08:14hrs.(Friday Feb 5th).
