ESSEX Firefighters have been called to a fire in aluminium can recycling plant at the port of Tilbury.
Crews are currently checking for hot spots
Update 08:59hrs: Firefighters have extinguished the fire in a large recycling bin using one hose reel jet and two fire extinguishers. Eight breathing apparatus were worn and two thermal imaging cameras were used.
Two ventilation fans were also used to help clear the incident site of smoke.
