THURROCK singer-songwriter Jordan Gray is set to make a dramatic return to The Voice this weekend.
When neither one of the four judges turned their chairs, as she sang Bob Dylan’s "Just Like A Woman" it looked like an opportunity had been missed.
However, there was such a feeling among the judges that they had made an awful mistake that there was sense that there was going to be a twist in the tale.
Sure enough, the singer has made a comeback as a replacement on Paloma Faith’s line up after another contestant – understood to be JJ Soulx – pulled out of the show for personal reasons.
Paloma was asked to pick a reserve act and chose Jordan.
Jordan was one of this year’s artists at the original try outs where she sung a touching cover of Bob Dylan’s She’s Only A Woman.
"I was just so regretful that I didn’t press that button and I’m so happy that I’ve been given the chance to bring her back," Paloma says in this weekend’s show.
In the battles, Jordan is matched up on Paloma Faith’s team with Theo Llewellyn, singing Kate Bush’s This Woman’s Work.
