Benyon Primary visit the Tate Modern

CHILDREN from years 4 and 6 at Benyon Primary School in South Ockendon enjoyed a trip to the Tate Britain art gallery in London on Monday.

The children visited the gallery to support their art studies: year 4 are studying landscapes and year 6 Pop art.

The children were all amazed by the artwork they saw and came back to school inspired and buzzing with excitement. Many are hoping to go back again over the Easter holiday with their family.

Trip leaders, Mrs Adele Leger and Mrs Diane Fussell, were full of praise for the children’s enthusiasm and excellent behaviour throughout the day.
