ESSEX Police were contacted just before 7.40pm on Friday, March 18 with reports of a theft from Lidl in Daiglen Drive, South Ockendon, where one of two suspects had a knife.
One suspect is described as male, 5ft 5ins tall, wearing a blue tracksuit and baseball cap.
The other was a woman, 5ft 1ins tall, wearing a pink beanie hat, jeans and a jacket over a jumper. She had ginger hair.
They had attempted to steal meat from the supermarket. No one was injured.
