Statement from Fire Service
Firefighters were called to an RTC involving one bus. Crews used specialist cutting equipment to release one male casualty from the vehicle by 07:04hrs. The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
Statement from Ambulance Service
The ambulance service was called to Levett Road at just before 6am today to a report of a collision involving a bus.
An ambulance crew attended to a man in his 50s.
He was assessed at the scene and taken to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further care.

Corringham Road in Corringham partially blocked at the Adams Road junction, because of an accident involving a bus.
0645 hrs
Corringham Road in Corringham partially blocked at the Adams Road junction, because of an accident involving a bus.
Local reports suggest that a bus has collided with a lamp post and there may have been damage to a number of garden walls.
There may also be damage to parked cars.
