THE developer of the £6bn London Paramount theme park has again delayed submitting plans for the massive scheme in Kent, raising doubts over the proposed 2021 opening date reports Property Week.
Plans for the project, which covers a site around twice the size of the Olympic Park in east London and includes a theme park, a water park and several hotels, among other elements, were due to be submitted in mid-2016, having already been put back once from summer 2015.
However, that timetable has now moved out again, by up to a year.
Steve Norris, chairman of London Resort Company Holdings (LRCH), the company bringing forward the project, said the plans would not now be submitted until the second quarter of 2017.
