ESSEX Firefighters tackled a fire of the first floor of a two storey house in London Road, Grays. On arrival the incident commander reported that the first floor was completely smoke logged.
Wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel jet crews had extinguished the fire by 05:29hrs. They cleared smoke from the building using a positive pressure ventilation fan.
