ESSEX Firefighters tackled a fire which engulfed two caravans in Buckles Lane, South Ockendon.
The fire had been extinguished by 23:57hrs but crews remained at the scene turning over and damping down for some time after that.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used three hose reel jets to tackle this blaze. A woman was left homeless as a result of this fire.
