OVER 50 people attended Chadwell St Mary Community Forum’s quiz on Saturday and a total of £292-00 net was raised.
£50 of this will be donated to The Stroke Association and the remainder will be used to cover the Forum’s operating costs and to support its activities in the ward.
Peter Saunders, Forum Chair said: ‘This was a very enjoyable social evening for all, and we are most grateful to everyone for their support. I’d especially like to mention David Veitch for kindly allowing us to use the Scout-hall, and Andy and Julie for composing and asking the questions and scoring in their usual imperturbable way.’
