A CHAFFORD Hundred man has pled guilty in court on a charge of being under the influence of drugs whilst driving.
The case of William Arnold, aged 26, of Brandon Close, Chafford Hundred, was heard at Basildon Magistrates Court on April 27th.
The charge was as follows:
On 02/02/2016 at Tilbury, drove a motor vehicle, namely Ford Mondeo on a road, namely Cowper Avenue, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Benzoylecgonine, in your blood, namely 138 mg of drug per litre of blood, exceeded the specified limit.
He was fined £491 and disqualified for twelve months.
