THE "Daily Mile" is a health and well-being scheme which was first established in Scotland but which has since been making national headlines across the rest of the UK.
From Monday 16th May all 700 pupils at Thameside Primary will be running a mile a day around the school field – teachers included!
The programme is free, fast and fun and the benefits felt by children and adults translate into fantastic results in and out of the classroom; overall fitness is improved as is confidence, concentration levels, mood and behaviour.
Thameside Primary can’t wait to get outside and start feeling the benefits of the Daily Mile!
