A NEWLY elected councillor for Chafford Hundred has expressed her concerns over the rising tide of violence on the housing estate.
Cllr Sue McPherson was responding to a question after a number of incidents in the last few weeks.
Cllr McPherson said: "It is alarming to see another disturbance in this quiet residential
area. These are isolated incidents and I ask residents to give the police any assistance they can so that these yobs can be brought to justice.
There is a residents meeting on 16th June at Harris Academy where the police will be in attendance and I would encourage residents to attend if they have concerns or questions."
YT asked the same questions to cllrs Tunde Ojetola, Gary Hague and Mark Coxshall but has yet to receive a reply.
