ALFIE Best is shortlisted for the Business Continuity Awards. The Chairman of Wyldecrest Parks was recently announced as one of the finalists for the category Industry Personality of The Year.
"I feel really happy with this nomination but, above all, extremely proud of all my team – once again, I couldn’t do anything without them and I know that if I am where I am today, it’s because of them and of their hard work and motivation", states the owner of one of the biggest park home operators in the country. With 46 retirement and holiday mobile home parks across England, Scotland and Wales, the Essex-based company, with its headquarters in West Thurrock, has won the 2015 LondonlovesExcellence Retail & Property Business Award last year and it is about to become the largest business within its industry sector.
Now in their 18th year, the Business Continuity Awards recognise business continuity, security, resilience and risk professionals whose innovative strategies and industry savvy make them stand out above the rest. Judged by an independent panel of experts for exceptional performance, the awards provide an opportunity for organisations and individuals to showcase their best products, projects and people.
"Congratulations to all organisations that made the shortlist for the 2016 Awards, and best of luck. We look forward to celebrating with you in June," Deborah Ritchie, editor, CIR and chair of the Business Continuity Awards judging panel.
The judges’ decision will be announced at the Business Continuity Awards gala dinner and ceremony on Thursday, 9th June 2016, at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
