Plea from Utrecht: Are you a relative of Cecil Albert Davey?

Dear Sir or Madam,

ON behalf of the local Elst Historical Society in Utrecht, Holland, I am researching the crash of Lancaster W 4191 in our village on the 21st of December 1942 killing all seven crew.

Although they are not buried in our village, it is our intention to honour and remember them.

It is our plan to create a little monument on the spot where the Lancaster crashed.

Therefore, we are trying to find relatives of the crew.

One of the crew was Cecil Albert Davey, Son of Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Davey of Corringham.

We have been searching the internet, Ancestry.com, MyHeritage.com and more but cannot find any connection.

We have even sent letters to six people with the name Davey in the area around Stanford le Hope.

But so far without any response.

Is it a possible that your newspaper can help us finding relatives?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!
