A DRIVER who failed to respond to 14 speeding tickets has been fined £10,500 and disqualified for six months.
The 22-year-old from east London failed to provide information about who was driving a Ford Focus and Ford Mondeo when it was captured speeding multiple times between July and October 2015.
When Notices of Intended Prosecution were sent to his home address in the Canning Town area, he ignored all of them.
The driver was summoned to court for failing to identify the driver of the vehicle in each of the 14 speeding cases.
He was ordered to pay a fine of £660 and costs of £90 in each case at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, June 16, 2016. He was also banned from driving for six months.
