THE 2016 Thurrock Art Trail was launched by the new Mayor, cllr Cathy Kent, last Thursday evening at a celebration at The Woolmarket, Horndon on the Hill.
Mayor Kent praised the Art Trail for highlighting the many positive things about Thurrock. The arts are flourishing here and there is a large network of professional and amateur artists who live and work in the borough: Thurrock Art Trail showcases their work.
2016 is the fifth year for Thurrock Trail and it is even bigger than before, with 18 venues. It opened to the public on Saturday 9th and runs until 24th July with exhibitions, open studios and pop-up events all over the borough.
