VUE is set to give the UK an all singing, all dancing glimpse into the life of one of the most creative showmen of our time, David Bowie.
"David Bowie Is" was the fastest selling exhibition in the Victoria & Albert Museum’s history, and has been hailed by critics as “stylish & outrageous” and “a triumph”.
Now a cinematic, behind the scenes, look at the show is coming to the big screen. The creative piece charts the fabled history of one of world’s biggest and most iconic pop stars.
Featuring original flamboyant costumes, never-before-seen handwritten lyrics, film and music videos, Bowie’s own instruments, album artwork and diary entries – the show offers a glimpse into the mind of the music legend.
Audiences are propelled on a fascinating journey through the exhibition with special guests including legendary Japanese fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto, Pulp front-man Jarvis Cocker, and other collaborators as they explore the stories behind some of the key objects that document Bowie’s artistic career.
Kevin Styles, Managing Director Vue UK and Ireland commented: “We are delighted to be able to give our customers the best seat in the house for this iconic London show.”
David Bowie Is comes to the big screen on Thursday 14 July.
