YAMAGUCHI-Goju-Kai hosted their association Karate Kumite Tournament in Thurrock on the 26th June, the Venue was ideal it was the Badminton Sports Hall at William Edwards School, the large Sports Hall was able to set up four competition areas with seating for over 200 spectators.
160 students competed from 15 clubs and associations that attended the event.
Those students that did well from the Yamaguchi Goju-Kai club Grays were.
Slam man

Silver: Emma Westcott, Mitchell Ames, Matti Zajac, Tyler Ilkhan.
Bronze: Kirstie Fox, Maddison Ball, Lucas Perry, Millie Sparks.
