C2C: Major woes for rail users on commute home

(18.00) Due to a urgent repairs taking place to fix a broken rail on the coastbound track between West Ham and Barking train services are currently suspended between Fenchurch Street and Barking.

You are strongly advised where possible to use Abellio Greater Anglia services between London Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria where c2c tickets will be accepted. Network Rail engineers are in attendance and are undertaking repairs.

These are expected to take until 19:30. Limited c2c services will restart from Barking and Upminster. c2c tickets will be accepted on London Underground (Tower Hill-West Ham-Barking-Upminster, West Ham-Stratford), Docklands Light Railway, TfL Rail on reasonable routes and on London Overground between Upminster and Romford. c2c tickets will also be accepted on TfL Buses EL2 (Barking-Dagenham Dock), 145 (Becontree – Dagenham Dock), 287 (Barking-Rainham), 103 (Dagenham East – Rainham) and 370 (Upminster-Ockendon-Lakeside for Chafford Hundred). c2c services are due to run to/from London Liverpool Street via Stratford this evening after 20:30 due to planned engineering work between Fenchurch Street and Barking.
