SOUTH Essex College are giving local students the chance to experience FREE activities this summer as part of their #Enrolfest series of events.
Young people in the area still unsure about what to do in September can take part in #Enrolfest and receive cinema tickets and sweet treats for free.
On Tuesday 9 August at 1pm, join the College at the Victoria Shopping Centre in Southend to collect a free Shakeaway milkshake.
On Thursday 11 August at 3.30pm, guests will be treated to a showing of the latest summer blockbusters at the Odean cinema in Southend. Attendees can choose between DC Comic’s Suicide Squad or Disney’s Finding Dory.
Jade Withrington, the College’s Events Coordinator, said: “We’re putting on these events to celebrate students finishing their GCSEs, we’re also hoping to offer support and help to those that are unsure what they’re doing next after school.
“The College has a wide range of courses to offer school leavers from A-levels to BTEC Diplomas and Apprenticeships to Traineeships, we guarantee there’s something to suit all abilities and future goals.”
Local students between 15 and 17 years old who live in a 25 mile radius of the College’s Southend Campus are eligible to collect the fantastic freebies.
Register for the events by visiting www.southessex.ac.uk/enrolfest and follow the relevant registration links for either the Odeon or Shakeaway date. Attendees must bring their tickets with them to claim their free milkshake/Odeon pass.
The #Enrolfest bus will also be out and about during the end of August, there will be live music on board, more freebies available plus staff will be on hand to offer course advice. Look out for it in Thurrock and Basildon on Wednesday 24 August and Southend on Thursday 25 August.
