THE leader of Thurrock Council, cllr Rob Gledhill insisted that the cleaning up of the borough was "moving at pace" when he addressed a meeting at Thurrock Coucnil last night.
The matter of litter came up time and time again at the meeting and there was a sense that in two months, the Tories may have their hearts in the right pace but were losing the PR battle.
