Health bosses send message out to patients at Dr Shehadeh surgeries

NHS Thurrock Clinical Commissioning Group, NHS England (East) and College Health Ltd (the new provider of patient services at the Shehadeh Medical Centres in Grays and Tilbury) together with the staff at the practices have been working closely to ensure that patient services are not disrupted in any way during the completion of the sale of the surgery buildings as previously owned and run by Dr Shehadeh.

We would like to provide reassurance to all patients that the practices are open for business as normal and if you have an appointment at either practice today and going forward, please attend in the normal way. Please note that all other services are operating at both surgeries and patients should contact the practice for their healthcare enquiries and needs in the usual way.

Sharon Hogarth, Area Operations Manager, College Health Ltd, says: “The staff here have been working tirelessly to ensure that the change of providers at both practices goes as smoothly as possible. Patient care is our priority and we want to reaffirm that the practices are open and are seeing patients.

“We are confident any final issues will be resolved swiftly and we look forward to improving access to appointments, providing good GP and Nurse cover and improving health outcomes for patients of Thurrock. Our dedicated staff will remain on hand to ensure that patients continue to be our first priority. If you are a patient at either practice and you need to see a GP or nurse, please contact us as normal.”
