Tory councillor pleads case for local elections just once every four years

A THURROCK Conservative councillor has put forward the case to have local elections in the borough just once every four years.

Portfolio holder, cllr Shane Hebb put the case forward at Wednesday night’s meeting of Thurrock Council.

But he was met by a great variety of challenges by both Labour and UKIP councillors.
