THURROCK Harriers athletic club celebrated receiving England Athletics Clubmark Accreditation on Thursday. The clubmark is a national accreditation scheme awarded to high quality community clubs by England Athletics.
Chairperson – Gerry Heapy received the award from UK Athletics representative Karen Stephanou this week. Thurrock Harriers has been recognised as a safe, effective, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages, providing a welcoming environment which encourages everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives.
