ROAD closures will take place in South Ockendon and Little Thurrock throughout August and September for road repairs and resurfacing.
Daiglen Drive, South Ockendon, between Cawdor Avenue and Darenth Lane, will be closed between 8am and 5pm from 22 August until 25 August so that road repairs and resurfacing can take place.
An alternative route will be via B1335 Stifford Road, Foyle Drive, Darenth Lane and vice versa.
Resident’s access will be maintained at all times.
Between 8am and 7pm on 10 September the A126 Dock Road between Bull Meadow and The Willows will be closed so road resurfacing can take place.
During this time operatives will be on-site to assist residents located within the closure should there be any difficulties.
Affected residents will also receive written notification prior to the closure.
These roads were identified by council officers as being in need of treatment as part of a planned carriageway resurfacing scheme.
A signed diversion route will be via Marshfoot Road, Chadwell By-Pass, Chadwell Road, Rectory Road, Dock Road and vice versa.
Thurrock Council would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure.
