GRAYS councillors, Tony Fish, Martin Kerin and Jane Pothecary, have reacted with outrage at the deteriorating state of the Grays Beach Park.
The summer has been a miserable one, with the park out of bounds for prolonged periods.
Cllr Martin Kerin said: "The state of the Beach Park is an absolute disgrace.
"
Throughout the summer, local families – including my own – should have been able to enjoy this attraction. Instead, we have Thurrock Council and Anglian Water involved in a blame game which is not resolving the issue.
"The residents of Grays and the whole of Thurrock deserve better."
