A POPULAR Grays’s solicitors has been shut down by the legal authorities.
Clients turning up to their offices on Grays High Street found the offices closed and a large legal notice on the front door.
The message on the website said: "The Solicitors Regulation Authority ("SRA") has intervened into Cumming & Riley Solicitors and has taken possession of papers and documents formerly in their possession.
"Devonshires Solicitors have been appointed by the SRA as its agents in this intervention.
