ESSEX Police are investigating an incident of car-jacking in Grays.

The incident occurred at 3pm on Monday September 5th on Ward Avenue in Grays.

A male was dragged from his vehicle and the car was driven away.

It was recovered a short distance later.

Police enquiries are continuing.
