Thurrock Community College partner with Port of Tilbury on workplace course

THURROCK Adult Community College has been working with the Port of Tilbury to improve the workplace communication skills of the Port’s security staff. Staff from the College delivered a 16 week ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) for the workplace programme tailored to the needs of the Port.

The programme was well received and due to the flexible nature of the programme staff were able to cope with variable attendance reflecting the shift patterns of the learners. All learners were successful and the Chief Executive of the Port, Perry Glading, issued the Certificates last Thursday evening and thanked the College for the work, who were represented by new Principal, Jaki Bradley and Nick Bailey, Vice Principal. #ChooseTACC.
