Man airlifted to hospital after stabbing in South Ockendon

ESSEX Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in South Ockendon.Officers were called to Eden Green by the ambulance service just before 12.30pm yesterday (Thursday, October 27).They attended and found a man who had stab wounds to his abdomen.He was flown to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.Anyone with information is asked to contact Essex Police on 101.People can also give information to the independent crime-fighting charityCrimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via an anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. Th==========THE EAST of England Ambulance Service received a call on Thursday at 12.25pm to reports of an incident on Eden Green in South Ockenden.A spokesperson said: “We sent two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance crew, and an air ambulance from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust (EHAAT).”At the scene a man, believed to be in his 40s, was treated for injuries before being airlifted to The Royal London Hospital for further care.
