Woman robbed at knifepoint in Tilbury

ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was robbed in Tilbury.The 30-year-old victim was walking in an alleyway between Sydney Road and Auckland Close at about 11.50pm on Tuesday October 18.She was approached by the men, one of whom demanded she hand over her mobile phone, a silver iPhone 7.When she refused to hand it over, he threatened her and pulled out a knife from jacket.He also demanded she hand over her silver and gold Gucci watch and gold coloured necklace.The suspects left with all three items and ran off from Auckland Close towards Canberra Square.They were all white and believed to be aged in their early 20s. Two were about 6ft tall and wore black jackets. The third was shorter and wore a grey hooded top.Witnesses or anyone with information about the incident are asked to contact Dc Clive Day at Grays CID on 101.Alternatively, they can contact independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
