tim-aker-dutchUKIP MEP Tim Aker has reacted with anger at a High Court ruling that may see “Brexit” going to a vote in the House of Commons.

Cllr Tim Aker MEP said: “This ruling is the establishment fighting back against the majority who voted to Leave the EU.

“Their Article 50 approach is failing by the day. The British people voted to “Leave” and the Government should respect this by tearing up the 1972 European Communities Act now.

“The Government could “Leave” the EU tomorrow, but let’s remember Theresa May wanted to Remain.

“Tory MPs plot day and night to keep us in. Only UKIP is now the clear choice for the 17.4 million who want their country back.”

  1. I doubt Parliament will stop Brexit because too many politicians realise that to do so would mean their political suicide but I think it’s laughable that Tim Aker is so angry about getting EXACTLY what he wants – Parliamentary sovereignty. The fact that no one in Parliament actually knew what that meant and that it could, potentially, stop Brexit didn’t enter their tiny little minds because, really, no one thought that the UK public would vote Leave in such high numbers. There you go, everyone has gotten bitten on the backside. Finally, the EU Referendum has brought about equality on at least one issue – everyone’s honked off now.
