A THURROCK PCSO has escaped jail after pleading guilty to downloading images of child abuse.
Scott Jones, aged 40 of Alverstock Road, Romford, pled guilty at Basildon Crown Court to a single charge that took place in 2012.
He was sentenced to 100 hours of community service. Jones was also placed on the sex offenders register for five years.
