A FEW weeks ago, Tilbury councillor, Clare Baldwin requested that kind-hearted residents donate tins or biscuits for elderly residents who may have nothing over Christmas.
Since then, cllr Baldwin has been presenting parcels to a large number of Tilbury residents.
Cllr Baldwin said: “I would just like to thank the kind-hearted Tilbury residents for their contributions.
“You should be proud as you have really helped out elderly folk.
“What was left over has been donated to the Samaritans. Happy Christmas!”
