A MAN was taken to hospital after suffering a chest injury at Lakeside on Tuesday night.
Officers were called to reports of an altercation at the Lakeside shopping centre in Thurrock around 7.45pm yesterday (Tuesday, January 17).
They found a man in his 20s who had two puncture wounds to his lower back.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A search of the area was conducted but the suspect was not located.

An East of England Ambulance Spokesperson said: An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a 999 call at 7.50pm last night (17th January) to an incident at Lakeside in which a man, thought to be in his 20s, had suffered a chest injury. We dispatched an ambulance, ambulance officer and a rapid response vehicle to assist.
“After being given care at the scene by our crews, the patient was taken to hospital in a stable condition.”
Essex Police have set to respond to our request for a statement.
