A MAN has been arrested after a woman was found stabbed in Grays on Sunday afternoon.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “Police were called by the ambulance to an address in Worthing Close, Grays at around 11.40am today (Sunday, January 22).
“Officers attended and found a woman in her 20s with a stab wound to her chest.
“She has been taken to hospital in London for treatment.
“A 31 year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been taken to Grays Police Station for questioning.
“Anyone with any information regarding the incident is asked to contact Essex Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
