A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a collision involving two lorries and a car in Grays.
Emergency services were called to the A1012 exit slip road on the London-bound A13 at about 9.30am yesterday Thursday, February 2.
The car driver, a 23-year-old man from the Basildon area, died at the scene.
Mark Williams, 44, a HGV driver, of no fixed address, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
He is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Saturday February 4.
