ESSEX Police were contacted shortly before 1.25pm on February 5th (Sunday) with reports a quad bike was in collision with a pedestrian in South Road, South Ockendon, at the junction of Buckles Lane.
The bike failed to stop. The pedestrian, a 63-year-old man, suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate the rider.
