A MAN has died following a road traffic collision.
Police were called at 2.10am yesterday, Saturday February 4, to Poynters Lane in Shoeburyness.
A Ford Fiesta was in collision with a man lying in the road.
Police and the ambulance service attended but sadly the man, aged 46 from Tilbury, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The road was closed between Star Lane and Wakering Road while forensic collision investigations were carried out.
