GRAYS Athletic supporters came together on Friday night to celebrate the club becoming supporter owned/run.
Along with the current squad and management staff in attendance a number of ex-players and staff also attended the evenings celebrations. Former management team Jeff and Fred Saxton were there to share their memories of their time at the club, alongside ex-manager Mark Stimson now manager at Thurrock FC and former player Glenn Poole.
Interim chairman Steve Skinner started the evening off by welcoming supporters to the event and thanking them for their continued support of the club, this was followed by a short speech from interim fininacial director and life president Glyn Jarvis.
Fans were treated to a free bar and buffet with the opportunity to purchase club merchandise also on offer.
The club are delighted to announce that £400 was raised on the night from raffle ticket sales and all proceeds will go directly to the club.
