JUST after 10.30pm on Saturday 4 February officers were called to Grays station following reports of an assault.
Officers attended alongside Essex Police and paramedics from the East of England Ambulance service. A man was taken to hospital where he was treated for a laceration to the face.
In connection with this incident, a 28-year-old man was arrested by officers and was later charged with grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article.
Ashton Brooke of Leicester Road, Tilbury will appear before Basildon Magistrates’ Court today.
