A BIG-hearted Stanford resident is undertaking a number of acts of charitable kindness across the area.
Paul Luke has started the “Stanford Le Hope and Surrounding Area Fundraising Team”.
Paul said: “I started my fundraising team just under two years ago and have since raised nearly £25,000 for a number of local groups and charities.
“We undertake voluntary fundraisers once and month in a number of weird and wakey ways. Last year we spent months working on a project which saw us take 3000 Christmas presents in patients young and old alike and also included the staff on the wards and ambulance staff.
“This weekend just gone we undertook a love balloon release releasing hundreds of balloons into the sky’s of SS17. On the whole balloons had been sold upfront. The funds raised from this will be added to a just giving page we have running to undertake random acts of kindness for isolated and lonely people in the community.
