Thurrock 4 v 0 Bury Town
Report by Tony Flood
THURROCK bounced back from last week’s defeat at Maldon & Tiptree with a comfortable victory over Bury Town. After a tight first 25 minutes Thurrock took the lead when Charlie Stimson’s pass was brilliantly finished by Ronnie Winn. The lead was doubled shortly after when Perry Dunn smashed home from close range and the game was as good as over when Winn scored again just before the break.
The second half saw few chances as Thurrock comfortably saw the game out although Bobby Mason had to be sharp to save from Regan Perling and Thurrock scored a fourth in injury time when Michael Pindy went round the keeper and scored.
Thurrock: Bobby Mason, George Winn, Remi Sutton, Mark Onyemah (Solomon Coker 85), James Goode (Nathan Okoye 46), Perry Dunn, Jordan Clark, Glenn Poole, Charlie Stimson, Joe Christou, Ronnie Winn (Michael Pindy 85).
