A CHARITY cream tea was held in aid of a brave Grays woman who is fighting cancer.
Nikki Nye is presently undergoing treatment of bone cancer and her family and friends want to raise awareness.
The tea was organised by Nicola Topliss and friends and held at the Gateway People’s Centre in Stanford-le-Hope.
They raised over £800.
Nicola and five of her friends (Janice Hard, Paul Ny, Antje Macintosh, Arthur Ashwell and Chris Matthews) will be going on to run the Royal Park Half Marathon in October.
