VETERAN removals man, Bernie Lawrence is set to retire after over forty years in the business.
The business is Hockley Removals, a company well known in Stanford-le-Hope as well as the length and breadth of the country. As Bernie says, he has been as far as Southend. That will be Southend on the Mull of Kintyre.
Of course, when 75-year-old Bernie says he will retire, you get the feeling that he will still keep his eye in or give a helping hand to his son Kevin Lawrence.
