POPULAR Thurrock group, the TipToe Stage School based in South Ockendon, once again took part in Comic Relief this year.
However, things were a bit different this time round and rather than the pupils taking part in the fund raising – some of the mum’s and dad’s became pupils for the day!
They took part in strenuous classes covering Acro, Street and Ballet and the results were rather surprising!
Principal of TipToe, Julie Barker said: “It was a really fun and inspiring day to see a selection of our parents throw aside any inhibitions and get stuck in – the children loved seeing their Mum’s and Dad’s enjoying themselves and it was quite emotional seeing everyone pull together and raising money for such a good cause.
“At TipToe we are very lucky to have supportive and encouraging parents who all form part of the trusted and happy atmosphere we continually strive for at the school”.
The school is currently creating their performance piece for the forthcoming appearance at Disneyland, Paris as well as appearing in a number of outside music festivals, summer fetes and shows.
