THURROCK Council leader, Rob Gledhill took the opportunity as part of his leader’s remarks section of Wednesday night’s Cabinet meeting to reflect on the council’s achievements over the last year.
In the eight minute speech, cllr Geldhill covered the subjects of “Clean It, Cut It, Fill It”; the new bin rounds; £1.2 million parks programme; improvements to housing stock; cash for potholes; new sign against bikers in Stanford-le-Hope; Trading Standards; IT support with Hyper-Optic and then the campaign to remove the financil burden of Lea Valley Park.
