Thurrock Regional Qualifying Gala
THURROCK Swimming Club were proud to host the annual Regional Qualifying Gala at Blackshots Leisure Centre, welcoming 18 different clubs from Essex, Kent and London. The qualifying swimmers will go on to compete in the Regional Championships, which will be held in May.
The club saw members of the Bronze Squad – the newest squad at Thurrock Swimming Club – enter their first ever gala supported by their coach, Claire Moore. During her first ever Gala, Priya Dhillon achieved her first County Championship qualifying time – a very proud moment for the Club.
After a long day of competing, many of the swimmers were honoured to have achieved regional qualifying times. Swimmers competing on the day were:
